Key responsibilities
- This is a true telemarketing role so the ideal candidate is comfortable conducting 50-60 telephone cold calls daily
with the intention of gathering information on suspect accounts including qualification of the account as a potential
prospect and more importantly to "disqualify" those accounts that would not benefit from our services, develop a target account list using information gathered and continue to market to the target account decision maker.
- Perform planning activities to develop "Calls this week", "Eight before Eight", and "Five after Five" which equates to developing priority call lists including those that will be called either before or after normal business hours.
- Engage prospective organizations key decision maker(s) using conversation and effective dialogue to understand their
technology challenges; if discussions are with the gatekeeper establish relationship with the gatekeeper to identify potential needs and gather information on the suspect.
- Schedule 2-3 face-to-face sales meetings weekly for a member of the Sales team.
- Accurately and diligently update lead records in sales systems based on criteria established by management.
- Generate daily activity reports and submit to management for review.
- Manage, track and provide sales opportunity status on all sales leads to management.
- Develop and refine calling processes, procedures, and work flow to ensure continuous personal improvement, document processes utilizing tools and established methodology as directed by management.
