Zonal Sales Manager

Job brief :

We are looking for a high-performing Zonal Sales Manager to help us meet our customer acquisition and revenue growth targets by keeping our company competitive and innovative. You will be responsible for maximizing our sales team potential, crafting sales plans and justifying those to plans to the upper management.


Responsibilities :

- Achieve growth and hit sales targets by successfully managing the sales team.

- Design and implement a strategic business plan that expands the company's customer base and ensures its strong presence.

- Own recruiting, objectives setting, coaching and performance monitoring of sales representatives.

- Build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with them and understanding their needs.

- Present sales, revenue and expenses reports and realistic forecasts to the management team.

- Identify emerging markets and market shifts while being fully aware of new products and competition status.

- Resolve customer complaints regarding sales and service.

- Monitor customer preferences to determine the focus of sales efforts.

- Determine discount rates or special pricing plans.

- Develop plans to acquire new customers or clients, through direct sales techniques, cold calling, and business-to-business marketing visits.

- Assign sales territories and set sales quotas.

- Plan and coordinate training programs for sales staff.

- Need to work with people in other departments and with customers, so you must be able to communicate clearly.

- Able to collect and interpret complex data to target the most promising geographic areas and/or demographic groups, and determine the most effective sales strategies.

- Must be able to evaluate how their sales staff performs and must develop strategies for meeting sales goals.

- Negotiate and close agreements with large customers.

- Provide timely and effective solutions aligned with clients- needs.

- Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures.

- Maintain sales volume, product mix and selling price by keeping current with supply and demand, changing trends, economic indicators and competitors.

- Continually develop knowledge of the business climate, applications and competition for his/her defined geography and accounts.

- Continually assess current business distribution channels, develop and evaluate their performance and manage conflict ensuring alignment with territory plans.

- Prepare to report as needed.

Requirements :

- Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field.

- Successful previous experience as a sales representative or sales manager, consistently meeting or exceeding targets.

- Committed to continuing education through workshops, seminars, and conferences.

- Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization.

- Ability to use technology effectively + Ability to use apps/tools.

- Experience with CRM software, Familiarity with MS Office, E-Mails, Internet Surfing & WhatsApp.

- Great command of communication & writing. (English & Hindi/Gujarati)

- Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close.

- Strong business sense and industry expertise.

- Excellent mentoring, coaching and people management skills.

- Male candidate required.

Location : S.G.Highway, Ahmedabad.

Job Timing : 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM

Salary : 4.8 - 6.0 Lacs\Annum (We can offer even higher if candidate deserves it!)
