Zonal Sales Manager - FMCG (10-20 yrs)
Sales Strategy Development :
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets within the assigned zone.
- Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify opportunities for growth.
- Collaborate with the senior management team to define sales objectives, strategies, and tactics.
Team Leadership and Management :
- Recruit, train, mentor, and manage a team of sales representatives within the zone.
- Set clear sales targets and performance metrics for team members.
- Provide ongoing coaching, feedback, and support to ensure the team meets or exceeds targets.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and take corrective actions as necessary.
Relationship Building:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders within the zone.
- Identify new business opportunities and strategic partnerships to expand market reach and increase sales.
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and trade shows to promote products and services.
Sales Operations Management:
- Monitor sales activities, track progress against targets, and analyze sales data to identify areas for improvement.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and ethical standards.
- Collaborate with other departments such as marketing, finance, and logistics to streamline processes and optimize sales operations.
Reporting and Analysis:
- Prepare and present regular sales reports, forecasts, and budgets to the senior management team.
- Analyze sales data, market trends, and customer insights to identify opportunities and risks.
