Manager- Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities :
- Setting up the entire distribution channel for new product from ground zero including travel to markets and work shoulder to shoulder with field team for minimum 50% working days.
- Formulate strategies and execute action plans to generate end customer demand to maximize sales of responsible team of FOS & TLs.
- Plan and execute the achievement of divisional and personal target, aligning with company sales policies and strategies
- Provide guidance to Sales team on a daily, monthly, and quarter work plan in accordance with the formulated strategies
- Manage, develop, train, coach, control and motivate the sales force to develop their skill to ensure that a high professional standard is achieve and monthly sales target and KPI target are met
- Manage team to ensure targets are delivered through people management, performance review, reward and individual recognition
- Territory mapping of resources to ensure complete and strategic market coverage.
- Float beat plans for all resources to follow and monitor for strict adherence.
- Data analysis of captured market metrics and propose methodologies, rewards and recognitions, incentive schemes, loyalty programs for enhanced outputs and market penetrations.
- Conduct regular sales and business reviews with client and team to evaluate strategies, roadmaps and performances
- Lead the top-to-top meeting with key customers to ensure strong relationship and remove business obstacles, aligning with long term company.
Desired Candidate Profile :
- Graduation in Engineering from a recognized institute, MBA preferred.
- Adept in setting up market for new product from ground zero.
- Must be thoroughly aware of the construction chemicals Markets.
- Minimum 7 to 10 year of experience in building materials distribution management.
- Excellent written communication and command over English language. Effective communicator; will interact with many departments and individuals in person, or via phone and/or e-mail.
- Excellent leadership and problem-solving skills.
- Maintain an enthusiastic travel program to visit all regions for business development and hand-holding as well as support of ground staff for minimum 50% working days.
- Self-motivated, result-oriented, and be able to work under pressure.
- Excellent team handling skills.
- Strong knowledge of sales principles, methods, practices, and techniques.
- Strong problem identification and objections resolution skills.
- Able to build and maintain lasting relationships with customers.
- High level of integrity and work ethic.
