Zonal Manager - Sales & Operations - Retail & Apparel (15-20 yrs)
Location: Anywhere in South India

Purpose of the Job
The Zonal Manager, will be responsible for leading a retail team who can ensure the store is focused on achieving sales goals, customer service and the shopping experience, and developing internal talent and to create, recommend, and implement ideas to help company's store reach all goals and objectives. This role works closely with distributors and Marketing team and to ensure enhancement of brand image.
Key Result Areas for the Incumbent
Process Responsibilities
- Ensuring effective Inventory management for the concept in the territory ( order management, stock consolidation, movement and transfer, optimum stock utilization, stock return and shrinkage)
- Review and analyze stock and sales reports monitoring over and under stocks , implementing corrective action to be taken
- Review and effectively deal with fast / slow lines, new ranges and end of ranges and implement necessary action
- Ensuring monthly feedback Concept on sales, stock positions and product feedback to be shared
- Strategize and seek opportunity for concept expansion in the territory
- Ensuring completion of new projects in a timely manner
- Identify locations for stores as per required process and quality and Understand Territory dynamics (demographics, consumer behaviour, market understanding etc)
- Ensuring VM Implementation, SOP adherence, Stock Transfer, Petty cash approvals, Repairs & maintenances
- Negotiate with store owners for rent changes
People Management Responsibilities
Selection, Training and Evaluation of Staff
- Maintain regular connect with staff (Housing & Transport) and ensure welfare activities are planned
- Ensuring new joinees onboarding and induction formalities in a timely manner
- Train and monitor Area manager to ensure grievances are resolved in a timely manner
- Manage the Store Managers - their performance, Training, development interventions and growth
- Manage and provide direction to the team. Set team goals and regularly measure team performance.
- Manage Attendance approvals, appraisal of direct reportees
Maintain relationships with MBO
