Zonal Business Head - Education (10-18 yrs)
Qualification and Experience:
Post Graduate preferably MBA, having 8-10 years of work experience in the sales of education/IT sector.
Must have experience in dealing with Government client.
Experience in managing Schools, Chain of Institutions, Universities and corporate clients to be preferred Skills and Attributes:
Candidate must possess the following skill sets:
- Interpersonal skills, public speaking, presentation and listening skills
- Understanding of Government Sector business
- Appropriate insight of education, training and IT sector
- Understanding of potential market segment / potential customers
- Fluency in English and local language/dialect
- Network building capabilities to establish relationships with high level government Officials, Vendors and others
- Willing to travel extensively even on short notices
- Experience in managing Government clients having understanding of tender system etc.
Job Responsibilities & Accountabilities:
Candidate would be accountable for following activities: -
- Generate business for the assigned region and achieve the assigned billing and order booking Targets for the assigned region (multiple states)
- Devise the appropriate strategy for the assigned states
- Recruit, train and manage the sales team under him on day to day basis.
- Meeting and developing relationships with the prospective government and private clients in the Zone
- Keep a track of Government schemes, budgets and business opportunities relevant to education market
