Job Description : Sales Development Representative (SDR) Also referred to as: Business Development Representative, Inside Sales manager, Sales

Development Specialist

- With the huge growth in the SaaS ecosystem in India, there is a dire need of people who can execute go-to-market strategies at a global level. SDRs are at the front line of sales for SaaS companies who do the market research, qualify leads, give demos and even generate a sales pipeline.

- While there are certain nuances that each company might have, the broad roles and responsibilities of an SDR are very similar across all SaaS companies.

Requirements : 

- Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation skills

- Excellent verbal and written communications skills

- Good communication skills and ability to listen to the customer and their requirements

- Never say die attitude and a strong desire to succeed

- Ability to communicate, present, and influence all levels of the organization, including executive and C-level

- Proven ability to articulate the distinct aspects of products and services

The Zohort program will ensure that the basic set of requirements that companies look for are trained and developed by our graduates during the 8 week program

Responsibilities :

- Contact potential clients through cold calls, cold emails, social messaging to generate demos

- Identify client needs and suggest appropriate products/services

- Build long-term trusting relationships with clients

- Manage a database of leads in CRM, efficiently processing all opportunities, tracking,reporting and maintaining them until they are established in the sales pipeline

- Your mission will be to apply pipeline generation skills to identify and acquire new opportunities in Small and emerging, medium-sized and large enterprises to help grow and develop our presence

- Proactively seek new business opportunities in the market

- Set up meetings or calls between (prospective) clients and Sales managers

- Owning and hitting/exceeding annual sales development targets

- Report to the Sales Development Manager on (weekly/monthly/quarterly) sales results
