Zeon - General Manager - Business Development (7-12 yrs)

Description :
This role is a key support position for servicing current and prospective clients. Will require regular co-ordination with Director Business Development Office. The person acts as an ambassador of the organization and must exemplify our company culture. The Director BD's office specifically is very fast-paced, with an entrepreneurial approach to the daily management of our business. You must be able to multi-task in order to handle a multitude of short and long-term projects; with at times, competing and conflicting levels of priority.
Prime Functions :
- Maintain a growing top line and bottom line.
- Strategize and provide plans and budgets for BD for current and following year.
- Activity participate in educating on market trends and keep the team dynamic to be able to adopt to changes.
- Generate queries for Nutraceutical & Ayurvedic products.
- Meeting and presenting to clients, the organization capabilities and products.
- Provide quotes to clients and negotiate to close deal.
- Be able to maintain compliance in relation to business development activities.
- Regularly travel to meet clients and convert queries.
- Manage exhibitions and conferences to display organization capabilities and generate business.
- Complete monthly report and present to Director BD on progress.
- Monitor client queries being handled by team and support and guide team to convert it.
- Work with team to check Label claims and their compliance with FSSAI/AYUSH.
- Work on costing of products and be able to analytically work on cost optimization.
- Co-ordinate with operations to make sure that clients get timely delivery.
- Customer servicing.
- Understanding regulatory and other requirements to comfortably answer client queries.
- Market research for prospective products.

- Must be able to communicate articulately, clearly and concisely (verbal and written) and know what, when and how to communicate depending on audience and subject matter (sensitivity and timing).
- Additionally, you must be able to maintain the highest level of professionalism when speaking with our clients. The ideal candidate must have the ability to operate independently and collaboratively and have a strong, dynamic working style. The ideal candidate must have the ability to think strategically, see the - big picture,- recognizing impact of decisions on the operation and company and pay attention to details
