ZenSpace - Online Marketing Specialist (8-12 yrs)
ZenSpace is a Silicon Valley-based startup that provides on-demand smart meeting rooms to sales professionals, entrepreneurs, flexible workers, and freelancers. The company was founded by a group of business professionals out of their need for a private meeting room in the downtown area while traveling on business. ZenSpace has developed a web-based as well as mobile app marketplace that brings users and the hosts (Space providers) onto ZenSpace marketplace and help them with search and booking of a meeting place while on the go.
Marketing Automation Specialist
The Marketing Automation Specialist is responsible for building and leveraging knowledge of modern marketing automation best practices to perform day-to-day marketing automation tasks, implement integrated customer lifecycles and journeys using marketing automation platforms, CRM systems and tools and to ensure all technology requirements, business rules, workflows and integration points are documented, planned and executed.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Strategize, build and execute marketing automation tied to customer lifecycles and journeys across all marketing channels using marketing automation platforms and tools
- Ensure all digital marketing platforms within the business communicate with each other to remove reporting and communication discrepancies
- Carry out building and A/B testing and ongoing optimization of email marketing and campaign-specific landing pages
- Review and analyze existing email campaigns. Report on the performance of campaigns and make recommendations for improvement. Work collaboratively with the Corporate Communications, Field Marketing and business units around the company to ensure automated campaigns use best practices to achieve goals
- Develop and Adinister the ZenSpace marketing automation platform
- Import leads into Salesforce CRM
- Manage marketing webinars from set up to hosting
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Master's or Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business or related area
- 8+ years of marketing automation and CRM (Salesforce) expertise preferably in a B2B organization with a global presence.
- Basic HTML/CSS knowledge and web editing experience
- CMS experience
- Experience with data analysis tools
- Technical expertise in the setup of campaigns, email communications, customer journeys, personalization, dynamic functionality, web and digital marketing analytics, and other platform specific tasks.
- Experience using web and marketing metrics to gauge trends, evaluate content, and drive decisions
- Experience with scoring models, workflows, templates, list import and A/B testing
- High level strategic & critical thinking skills, with demonstrated ability to identify business opportunities to maximize company ROI
- Understanding of project management methodologies, business analysis, change management, user adoption, release management, and governance
- Strong analytical skills and a drive to experiment; demonstrated ability to use data to drive decision making
- Exceptional written and oral communication skills
- Success working in fast-paced environment with ability to identify resources needed and prioritize project tasks while meeting deadlines and goals
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Prior experience working in a technical business setting with engineers or in engineering simulation is preferred
- Platform specific experience a plus: Salesforce Sales Cloud, Salesforce Marketing Cloud (ExactTarget), Pardot, Marketo, or other B2B-focused marketing automation solutions, Google Analytics, Sitecore or other CMS platforms.
- Experience working in a public company a plus
- High attention to detail and proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization
