Zast - Business Development Role (2-4 yrs)
Job Description
1. Develop sales opportunities by researching & identifying potential clients in our target segment
2. Maintain and expand client database within your assigned territory
3. Identify decision makers within targeted leads to begin sales process
4. Ensure follow- -up by passing leads to appropriate team members with calls to- action, dates, complete profile information, sources, etc.
5. Assist in creating RFP responses to potential clients
6. Build relationship with existing customers
7. Understand customer requirements, evaluate options and provide suggestions
8. Research accounts and generate or follow through sales leads
9. Attend meeting, sales events and trainings to keep abreast of the latest developments
10. Identify emerging markets and market shifts while being fully aware of new products and competition status
Requirements :
- Two to four years of direct work experience in sales preferably in logistics, courier, 3PL industry
- Demonstrated ability to convert prospects, close deals, and achieve sales quotas
- Solid experience in opportunity qualification, pre- call planning, call control, account development, and time management
- Familiarity with different sales techniques and pipeline management
- Excellent listening skills
- Strong written communication skills
- Ability to work individually and as part of a team
- Strong communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills
- Self motivated and driven
- BA/BS degree or equivalent
- Travel: 50% time travel required
