yumEATS - Executive - Sales (0-2 yrs)
We are an innovative new food tech startup providing customized & gourmet food experiences to our customers. We are looking for candidates (pursuing MBA part time or having completed an MBA) with good interpersonal and communication skills having a pleasant personality for sourcing, expanding & managing key client relationships. The candidate will work closely with the internal business team to ensure that business and marketing objectives are understood and executed.
The candidates' day-to-day responsibilities include:
- Evangelize the www.yumeats.in marketplace to targeted customers
- Plan approaches and pitches to prospect for potential new clients through cold calls, networking, references etc
- Meet potential clients by growing, maintaining, and leveraging your network.
- Identify potential clients, and the decision makers within the client organization.
- Set up meetings between client decision makers and company's Principals.
- Work on developing proposals suited to the client's needs, concerns, and objectives.
- Handle objections by clarifying, emphasizing agreements and working through differences to a positive conclusion.
- Use a variety of styles to persuade or negotiate appropriately.
- Attend industry functions, such as association events and conferences, and provide feedback and information on market and creative trends.
- Identify opportunities for campaigns, services, and distribution channels that will lead to an increase in sales.
- Using knowledge of the market and competitors, identify and develop the company's unique selling propositions and differentiators.
- The candidate should be a self starter and should maintain a high drive to meet existing/prospective clients, ideate, create presentations, prepare proposals, reports and generate business.
The ideal candidate is a bright, ambitious, cheerful and a highly communicative person who is driven to achieve breakthroughs and is not easily dissuaded. Background in hospitality/banquet sales is preferred.
