Summary :
The ideal candidate will lead initiatives to generate and engage with clients to build new business for the company. Your job as a business development manager is to identify sales leads, pitch services to prospects and maintain a good working relationship with new and old contacts.
Responsibilities
- Smoothly transition account ownership from Sales/Pre-Sales
- Own a portfolio of accounts and engage proactively with customers using the engagement model (based on customer segment) laid out
- Understand and document customers use-cases & business flow- Have deep product knowledge of all product lines.
- Ability to design & lead product demo + work out solutions for business using best product-fit- Aligning with key customer stakeholders to establish a stronger customer relationship management (stakeholder mapping)Good understanding of the field sales structure in India is necessary.
- Continual monitoring of lead quality, coordinating with marketing to develop campaigns to generate qualified leads.Monitor and measure the return on investment in order to ensure they are effectively supporting growth targets and resources are well allocated Self-driven, Initiative taker, Analytical, Thought leadership, communication, and collaboration skills are utmost essential
- Commercial and business acumen are necessary
- Good communication and networking skills are critical.
Desired Skills and Experience :
High Impact Presentation Skills, strong customer relationship, product marketing, a Proven record of meeting targets.
Experience of 1.5 - 5 years in IT Services & Sales.
