Role Overview :
- The E-Content Sales & Publication Manager will drive the sales and distribution of digital content solutions to higher education institutions.
- This role involves developing and executing sales strategies, building strong relationships with academic stakeholders, and working closely with the content development and marketing teams to enhance our offerings.
Key Responsibilities :
Sales Strategy & Execution : Develop and implement sales strategies to drive the adoption of digital content solutions among higher education institutions.
Client Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with deans, professors, and academic decision-makers to understand their content needs and align our offerings accordingly.
Market Research: Conduct market research to identify emerging trends, competitive offerings, and potential gaps in our product portfolio.
Product Development Support: Collaborate with the content development team to suggest new titles, digital products, and enhancements based on market feedback.
Sales Targets: Achieve and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets by effectively managing the sales pipeline.
Negotiation & Closing: Lead negotiations and close deals with higher education clients, ensuring alignment with company policies and pricing structures.
Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing, content, and customer success teams to create promotional campaigns, webinars, and academic events.
Reporting: Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and performance metrics for senior management.
Compliance: Ensure all sales activities comply with industry regulations and institutional standards.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Education, or a related field.
- A Master's degree or MBA is a plus.5+ years of experience in sales, account management, or business development within the education, publishing, or e-learning sectors.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and managing key accounts in higher education.
- Strong understanding of the academic publishing landscape, digital content trends, and the needs of higher education institutions.Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in CRM software, sales analytics tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
