Xpanxion - Lead - Presales (8-14 yrs)
Profile Background
1. 8+ years of experience in similar roles as pre-sales consultant, proposal or bid consultant/manager/executive
2. Preferably engineering background (B.E./MCA) to assist in articulating customer requirements and proposing alternate solutions
3. Awareness of the emerging technologies such as AI, ML, IoT, RPA, Blockchain, Embedded Solutions - Preferred but not mandatory
4. Exposure to usage of technology and innovative business models
5. Technical and/or solution experience would be an added advantage
6. Domain experience (preferably BFSI, Healthcare and Retail) would be an added advantage
7. Good written and verbal communication
Must Have
- Articulate customer requirements, understand customer businesses and communicate the same to pursuit team(s)
- Exceptional product engineering and digital transformation pre-sales skills, one who is well versed and understands product engineering, best practices, technology landscape, target operating model, product maintenance and product implementation services
- Well conversant in initiating the dialog with the customer, involving building a custom product platform and associated technologies around the below
UI/UX - Concept/Design/Prototype
Mobility - Hybrid Apps (Xamarin/Ionic/PWA etc)
Platform Engineering - Core Java/ JS Frameworks(Angular/React etc)/ Microsoft Technology (C#, Azure)
QA Automation - Web/Mobile/Desktop - Leveraging our (home-grown) extensive framework expertise
Platform Architecture and Integration - Microservices/SOA/Rest etc
- Liaise with internal virtual pre-sales team in getting solutioning done, effort estimates, PoCs
- Create and produce compelling storylines, technical/commercial proposals and technical documentation outlining the business benefits and cost savings.
- Contribute to content creation
- Structure and propose content, collaterals and data to various functions and maintain/update the same onto central repository
- Determine the scope and timelines for bids
- Demonstrate process management skills
- Maintaining pursuits, life cycle of the bids, taking follow-ups on the submitted bids
- Develop and maintain a knowledge base of templates and standard answers
- Adherence to all set deadlines
- Good written and verbal English
- Substantial experience using MS office, including Word, PowerPoint, Prezi and Excel.
- Action oriented, proactive in prioritizing workload and assigned areas of responsibilities within teams
Nice to Have
- Technical writing experience
- Ability to review and improve written bid submissions
- Present basis of bid
- Develop best practices for pre-sales practice
- Identify business opportunities within existing accounts and call it out with the relevant stakeholders
- Identify ways to improve the quality, consistency and efficiency of the bid response processes
