Workverse - Senior Social Media Expert (4-8 yrs)
Responsibilities:
- Handling & creating of social media on channels for outreach (for events) to the community
- Be creative, should know vendors, time plan, work & coordinate with
- Ensuring timely content posting across various social media handles and tracking.
- Staying updated on the latest updates and trends on social media.
- Creating the content calendar and regular reporting.
- Responsible for keeping the TEDxGateway Community engaged on social media
- You will need to correspond with the Marketing & Research & Curation team to help create the required content and engagement around the event and its speakers.
- Creating Ads and tracking them on various social media channels.
- Coordinating with the concerned people to ensure that the required creatives/ videos are created on time.
- TEDxGateway Salons are smaller, informal gatherings to engage the TEDx community in between TEDxGateway conferences. You will need to assist in putting together and executing these Salons in addition to helping cover them on social media
- Teamwork is an important part of the job role. You will need to collaborate effectively with other team members and/or lead a team of associates & coordinators.
Requirements:
- BA or BS in Communications, Marketing or Business Administration.
- Writing and editing skills - requires some peer or manager review.
- Prioritization, project management and time management skills.
- Ability to translate technical, complex and varied information into audience-resonating communications.
- Skills to analyze, observe and monitor trends across social media platforms and adapt them to the brand
- A highly organized, confident self-starter with a professional demeanor and strong interpersonal and collaboration skills.
- Organized, self-sufficient, hands-on DIY orientation, trustworthy and reliable.
- Proactive and goal-oriented with a strong willingness to learn and constantly improve
- Attention to detail, but also able to grasp the big picture across business groups, segments and geographies.
- Soft skills like emotional intelligence, storytelling and creative thinking (role play & simulation-based training provided as part of the placement process)
