WorkAmp - Associate - Sales Operations/Business Development (3-6 yrs)
About the position:
- The goal of Sales Operations is to reduce friction in the sales process such that the sales team are successful in their day-to-day activities.
- The Sales Operations Expert is responsible for identifying needs of the sales team and fulfilling back end support at every stage.
- The focus for the Sales Operation Manager is to align the Sales team effort to quarter objective and contribute to the outcome.
- The position requires a complete understanding of the business-to-business sales cycle and ability to use knowledge to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the sales operation process to enable the sales teams productivity
- Enable sales productivity by identifying bottlenecks, reduce friction is sales cycle & provide back end support
- Work alongside Sales leaders to define objective, standardise & measure outcomes, create dashboard to monitor
- Partner with Sales leaders to formulate strategies for integration of departments critical for sales success
- Coordinate integration of the sales methodology and content usage into the company's CRM/ automation application.
- Explore data management platforms to increase efficiency
- Drive partnerships and collaboration between sales, marketing, product, people operations and business operations.
- Keeping track of measurement criteria for success of sales objective
- Partner with senior Sales leaders to align training priority, while better understanding needs to drive them in a scalable manner.
- Create, select, deploy, manage and measure sales training programs (including classroom, workshop and online) along with Sales leadership
- Ensure that Sales Associates are adhering to the consultative selling approach
- Analyze sales data and creates processes to drive accurate 30-60-90 Day forecasting & funnel management.
- Develop and implement comprehensive CRM funnel reporting.
- Tracking opportunities from lead generation to closure, account development, and retention.
- Update & manage the sales content portfolio in conjunction with Product & Marketing initiatives, introduce & improve methods to deliver content to the sales team which are handed out to the market
- Manage back end of sales operation which includes data management, priority setting, vetting standard sales agreement & contract preparation
- Managing stakeholder expectations related to success at each stage of the sales journey.
Basic Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent professional work experience
- 3 or more years of Sales management and Sales enablement experience
- Excellent organization, communication and analysing & presentation skills
- Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and passion for managing projects to conclusion
- Real Estate experience is a must
Preferred Requirements:
- MBA or related Master's degree
- Consultative selling within a services industry
- Product Marketing or Field Marketing experience
- May have managed a team
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Salesforce or Hubspot knowledge & experience. Pipeline management
- Strong knowledge of sales effectiveness (skills/knowledge) training
- Critical thinking and change management within dynamic organizations
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-growth work environment
- An enthusiastic and confident team player who can work collaboratively across multiple teams and departments
- Business acumen & ability to identify priority
