Manager - Sales & Business Development - (BFSI / Retail)

Wooqer is seeking a seasoned Sales Manager who will be responsible for developing key growth sales strategies, tactics and action plans. Sales Manager is responsible for maximizing revenue generation and expanding business across the region, building relationships and understanding customer trends in the BFSI/ Retail industry and the ability to close deals while communicating our value to the customers.

Roles and Responsibilities:

- Develops sales opportunities by researching, identifying & soliciting potential accounts

- Formulating and implementing the company's sales strategy to keep the company competitive and innovative

- Revenue generation from designated Accounts through direct sales of Software product/s

- Constantly build & qualify new opportunities/ prospects. Qualify all sales leads, prioritize towards closure

- Experience in managing the sales cycle from business champion to C-Level

- Effectively communicate the value proposition through proposals and presentations

- Create relationships through networking, referrals, and proactive business development

- Implementing a variety of new business initiatives to drive sales. Creation of Business Plan & meticulously forecast & execute on the strategy for sales

- Collaborate with Customer Success & other teams to help accelerate customer adoption through demonstration of platform & showcasing Wooqer's value proposition

Requirement:

- 5 to 10 years of SaaS and/or Application software technology sales and account management experience

- Experience managing and closing complex sales-cycles- demonstrated ownership of all aspects of territory management - Proven sales executive experience, meeting or exceeding targets

- Knowledge on common industry SaaS concepts, metrics and selling methodologies

- Proven ability to position products against competitors

- Demonstrable experience in selling software to BFSI industry, developing client-focused, differentiated and achievable solutions

- Ability to collaborate with cross functional teams including but not limited to Pre-Sales, Product Team & Marketing

- Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation skills

- Excellent verbal and written communications skills

- Sound knowledge about/ selling to BFSI / Retail industry is preferred
