Join our dynamic team as an Ecommerce Copywriter and play a pivotal role in driving the success of our online retail business. As a key member of our Content department, you will be responsible for creating compelling, engaging, and conversion-focused copy that captivates our target audience and drives sales. This is a work-from-home position.
- Our Client Market Performance Group, formerly known as WingPoint Group, is a premier manufacturer's representative agency based in Seattle, with an exclusive focus on eCommerce. Our team consists of former Google, Amazon, BestBuy, & Walmart team members with over 25 years of retail sales, digital marketing, and product management experience in the US and a fully dedicated backend team located in New Delhi, India.
- Our client's level of expertise in growing sales on Amazon, and their ability to navigate Amazon with key relationships are the reasons several leading brands are associated with our client. Job Responsibilities :
- To consistently plan and create clear, concise and engaging content copy for product headings, feature bullets, and product descriptions for US-based e-commerce sites such as Amazon, eBay, Walmart, Best Buy, and others for a comprehensive and top-class client catalog and portfolio
- To produce well-written copy that is not only compelling but also optimized for search engine rankings and conversions
- To identify relevant keywords by conducting an in-depth keyword research for Search Engine Optimization using our pre-defined set of tools, and incorporate them seamlessly into the content
- To gain a deep understanding of our clients' target audience and develop consumer-driven copy that resonates with their needs, desires, and pain points
- To check the quality of the produced content copy to ensure error-free publishing on e-commerce platforms and its continual maintenance
- To work in collaboration with cross-functional teams ensuring timely deliveries and content published on various platforms
Desired Candidate's Profile:
- A bachelors degree or PG in any stream
- Strong editorial, proofreading, and writing skills
- Working knowledge with keywords, SEO, and their usage in online content
- Excellent communication skills in English (verbal & written)
- Ability to fact-check, and find grammatical errors and punctuation in existing content
- Excellent understanding of grammar and a keen eye for spotting typographical errors is essential to this role
- Ability to research, edit and tweak technical or non-technical content independently in American English
- Ability to multi-task and work well under pressure and within tight deadlines, and deliver high volumes of work while achieving quality standards
- Ability to weave a story about any topic. Having a natural flair for writing is a plus
- Experience working with MS Office (particularly Word and Excel) is a must
- Familiarity with Google Docs & Spreadsheet
- Strong attention to detail
