Job Role
Trade Manager, responsible for supervising the trade operations, nurturing the relationship with distributors and dealers within the assigned territory. Your role involves collaborating with distributors & dealers to drive primary and secondary sales, increase market size and achieve revenue targets.
Work Responsibilities :
1. Sales Target Achievement :
- Responsible for generating revenue of Gear, Footwear, Apparel & Luggage, in the assigned territory.
- Monitor and drive the achievement of sales targets through primary and secondary sales, also manage the stock level with the distributor.
2. Distributor and Dealer Management :
- Organise regular meetings with partners to build strong network & expand the business within the channel.
- Identify prospective distributors and dealers in the channel, to grow the partnerships to facilitate business growth and establish new counters.
- Introducing new product to distributor and dealer, implementing new marketing plans.
- Managing the day-to-day functioning of the sales task which includes order execution, service, and other issues of the distributors.
- Responsible for payments and exchanges.
3. Trade Promotions :
- Ensure the effective execution of marketing schemes and promotions.
- Monitoring and driving local level promotions to achieve targets and feedback on schemes / products.
4. Cross-Functional Collaboration :
- Collaborate with logistics and supply chain teams to ensure timely product delivery to clients.
- Work closely with the marketing team to align promotional activities with sales objectives.
5. Sales Report and Analysis :
- Prepare regular reports on sales performance, market trends, and competitor activities.
- Timely Reports submission as per SOP.
Qualifications & Skills :
Education Qualifications :
- Master's in business administration or related field.
Work Experience :
- Minimum 4-6yrs experience in Distribution / General Trade/ Channel Sales / FMCG trade.
- Should have diversified Trade Distribution Sales in network expansion.
Other Requirements:
- This is a frontline field sales job and will require extensive travel intra and intercity.
- Strong business orientation and Acumen.
- Good Customer focus and communication skills.
- Good Execution skills.
