WholesaleBox is a funded platform for wholesale buying and selling across India, for retailers (Shopkeepers) to be able to buy directly at factory prices. We are a bunch of technology and business people from IIMs, IITs, NITs, etc, who are working to bring efficiency in the whole distribution system and help retailers get more variety at their doorsteps at 25-40% lower prices.
They can take advantage of our simple web interface to buy products for their retail outlets and get those without having to travel to different cities/manufacturing hubs or to buy at much higher prices from the wholesalers near them.
We've put the entire wholesale buying process online to enable manufacturers & brands and retailers to drive incremental revenue, cut costs, improve their customer experience and analyze performance through data analytics.

Designation : Business Development Manager
Location : Surat
Job Responsibilities :
- Getting on-board manufacturers of designated segment from the assigned geographical area, on Wholesalebox platform.
- Major product line experience should of apparels.
- Having experience of Field work and ready to work in field.
- Instrumental in building and managing city team.
- Pricing, business model, commercial negotiations while on boarding sellers.
- Understanding business ecosystem relevant to Wholesalebox in Delhi and suggest changes/improvements.
- Measure and monitor key metrics.
Qualification for the Job :
- Entrepreneurial and result-oriented mindset. Strong sense of urgency and ownership
- Strong problem solving, Strategy, Prioritization skills with an eye for detail
- Prior experience with E commerce companies, startup or apparel category is preferable
- Must be a strong and enthusiastic team player with excellent verbal and written communications skills.
- B.Tech/ MBA from Tier I or Tier II institutes would be preferable.
