WhiteHat Jr is a Mumbai based Edtech that focuses on teaching coding to young kids. The online platform lets children (ages 6 to 14) learn programming and are then encouraged to create games,animations, and applications.

Founded in 2018 by former Discovery Networks CEO Karan Bajaj, WhiteHat Jr helps address a unique gap in the Indian education system. It prepares kids aged 6 to 14 to thrive in this new world by teaching the fundamentals of coding - logic, sequence, structure, and algorithmic thinking - and helping them build commercial-ready games, animations and apps. The company has developed its original coding curriculum and imparts the lessons via one-to-one live, interactive online classes.

Responsibilities :

- Write clear, attractive copy with a distinct voice

- Interpret copywriting briefs to understand project requirements

- Collaborate with designers, PR and other professionals on large- and small-scale marketing projects (e.g. email campaigns and landing pages)

- Conduct high-quality research and interviews

- Edit and proofread copy as needed

- Use SEO principles to maximize copy's reach

- Source images and other content

- Think of innovative ideas

- In-depth knowledge in performance marketing

Requirements :

- Proven experience as a copywriter or related role

- Knowledge of online content strategy and creation

- Excellent writing, editing and proofreading skills

- Experience with SEO and Performance marketing

- Strong research skills

- Creativity

- Collaborative spirit

- Excellent time-management and organizational skills

- BSc/BA in marketing, English, journalism or related field

- Minimum 5 years of experience
