Whistling Woods International (WWI) is India's premier Film, Communication & Creative Arts Institute. Since its inception in 2006, WWI has successfully delivered world-class education in all creative and technical aspects of filmmaking. Located inside Mumbai's Filmcity Complex, students receive hands-on instruction in the discipline they want to pursue.
We are looking for a fantastic team member to join as a Manager - Sales (Online Sales)
Roles & Responsibility:
Virtual Academy:
- Learn & retain all information pertaining to the courses available on the Virtual Academy.
- Update job knowledge constantly by studying the VA portal and courses in the pipeline, marketing calendar, and other information.
- Recommend course updations / new courses.
- Create a working launch plan including marketing, execution, and operations for the Virtual Academy product as per management timelines.
- Create a business/revenue generation plan on an annual basis, discuss the same with management, and be responsible for its execution.
- Understand the target groups, including industry, company, project, and company contacts, and which market strategies can be used to attract clients.
- Maintain relationships with current clients and vendors and identify new prospects within the virtual academy space.
- Possess a strong understanding of our products, our competition in the industry and our positioning.
- Follow the latest industry developments and stay up to date on corporate competition.
- Assist Management with research presentations, and business models and to get involved in the execution of new businesses as and when needed.
- Generate customer interest in the courses offered by VA.
- Determine the user eligibility and drive them to the correct course as per the user's requirements.
- Capture user preferences/ information after addressing their inquiries.
- Be responsible for the bottom line of the Virtual Academy product business.
DBSE:
- Managing the Delhi SOSE project - lead hands-on management of the team and delivery of scope of work along with managing complete on-ground operations required for execution of the scope of work in schools.
- Short Course Unit business - planning the annual business of WWI's Short Course Unit including course scheduling, marketing & communication, student enrolment, and end-to-end execution of the courses therein.
- Coordinate with the marketing team for content and schedules to produce promotional content
- Interaction and correspondence with already existing affiliation partners
- Plan out curriculums for short courses attended by affiliation partners with the Head of Academics and the Dean
- Manager any other assigned to the Short Course Unit
- Update exchange programs (national or international) and more courses with the approval of the Head of Academics
- Guest relations and celebrity management during events
- Being back up for handling operations for Virtual Academy, if needed.
- Align on a work plan with clearly defined milestones and timelines
- Building strong stakeholder relationships with school HODs, faculty, and relevant staff members
- Represent knowledge partner at offline meetings with government stakeholders as necessary
- Conduct quick bottleneck resolution for any on-ground challenges.
Short Course Unit (SCU):
- Managing relationships between the faculty and other members of the SCU team
- Administration of SCU - enrolment and admission team coordination, attendance sheets and database maintenance, application filing and database, certificates, etc.
- Manage bases during workshops and other events
- Scheduling of courses - location booking, faculty coordination, technical requirements booking, procurement of resources
- Coordinate with the marketing team for content and schedules to produce promotional content
- Interaction and correspondence with already existing affiliation partners
- Analysis and research of potential partners and establishing new contacts with them
- Plan out curriculums for short courses attended by affiliation partners with the Head of Academics and the Dean
- Update exchange program and degree application procedures
- Coordinating and managing events for 5th Veda and taking care of the hospitality of guests
