About the Role :
- Create new business opportunities and relationships including business partnerships, crypto projects & protocols, new token launches, market listings etc
- Drive trading volume and revenue growth by actively engaging external participants and potential partners and by developing acquisition strategies
- Lead the strategic partnerships to drive new customer acquisition and market penetration
- Manage all stages to the deal process, confidently, from negotiation to execution by engaging with both the prospective partners as well as internal stakeholders (i.e., BD, Product, Legal, Leadership, and Finance as needed)
- Manage and optimize partnerships post deal execution through regular partnership reviews, performance tracking and analysis.
- Assess and execute additional strategic opportunities with existing partners
- Build scale in business development function by collaborating with internal stakeholders (product, program and marketing teams) to develop joint business plans and GTM for new products.
- Closely monitor the ecosystem (competitors, regulatory landscape etc) to suggest and implement suitable alignments that provide the platform with a differentiated value proposition
About You :
- Should have minimum 5 years of experience in business development from a Startup Fintech space with 2+yrs experience in Crypto
- Have strong personal networks (alumni networks, startups, previous companies)
- Additional benefit if you have strong connections in the Blockchain and crypto space
- Have a proven track record of selling technology and digital services.
- Strong presence on social media like Linkedin, Twitter for networking
- Have a strong network of contacts which you could leverage to develop new business opportunities and to establish business relationships with top blockchain and crypto projects
- Be experienced in all stages of the sales process from lead generation to conversion
- A meticulous approach to planning and organizing to prioritize tasks and meet strict deadlines
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with people at all levels of business
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, problem-solving and presentation skills.
