WAI Insurance Broking - Manager - Corporate Sales (6-15 yrs)
- Manage existing SME Corporate clients and build deeper relationships
- Acquire new Corporate clients
- Sale of General Insurance products - Asset Insurance, Fire Insurance, Liability Insurance, Engineering Insurance, D & O policy, MBD Policy, Marine Insurance, & Employee Benefits policy (Group Medical, Group Personal, Workman's Compensation policy)
- Provide comprehensive explanations of product pricing and features, ensuring a clear understanding of how they impact profitability.
- Collaborate with insurers and Third Party Administrators (TPAs) to enhance service quality and obtain competitive quotes for our clients.
- Closely monitor competitor activities to gain insights into market trends and proactively respond with appropriate actions.
Key Functions :
- Analyse client risk profile including nature of business, existing insurance coverage, past claims experience
- Work with the Technical team to underwrite commercial risks including property, engineering, liability, marine and other miscellaneous general insurance products
- Collate necessary client data/documents and prepare RFQs of various insurers
- Send proposal forms to insurance companies to procure quotations, prepare comparative
- quotes, and negotiate terms and conditions to meet the client's requirements.
- Work with Senior Management to negotiate discounts, terms and clauses with insurers and ensure that client receives best possible quote.

- Resolve client queries by co-ordinating with various insurance companies
- Coordinate with insurers for finalising quotes and claims.
Job Requirements:
- Prior experience in General Insurance broking industry or in Corporate Sales withing BFSI.
- Should have a minimum of 2-3 years of relevant experience in the insurance sector.
- Possess exceptional communication and interpersonal skills and have the ability to quickly and effectively manage client relationships.
- Strong analytical skill sets and presentation skills, to effectively engage with individuals at all levels within an organization.
- Highly customer-focused, driven for results, and possess aptitude for technology.
Other Responsibilities:
- Ability to quickly learn the Technical aspects of the General Insurance industry.
- Learn to evaluating risk exposures, identifying gaps in existing insurance coverage.
- Work closely with underwriting teams for risk evaluation and policy formulation.
- Collaborate with clients and internal teams to develop customized insurance solutions.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing ongoing technical support and assistance throughout the insurance process.
- Participate in industry events, seminars, and conferences to promote the firm's expertise in the Commercial lines of business.
