VPG - Manager - Sales (6-10 yrs)
Job description
- Initiate partnerships with new accounts and actively managing existing relationships.
- Work closely with the partners to understand their pain points, and adequately explain pickup features and benefits to their needs to help promote sales.
- Maintaining a strong relationship with merchants and advising them on issues related to the market and offering solutions on the same.
- Conduct promotional events/marketing activities to develop new contacts and increase the user base.
- Sustaining and growing the relationships that translate to a growth in revenue for the city.
- Streamline as well as adhere to processes and systems and provide inputs to senior management on maximizing business relationships and creating an environment where customer service can flourish.
- Manage the sales administration function, operational performance reporting, streamlining processes and systems wherever possible.
- Meet your monthly revenue targets and close new business deals by coordinating the requirements, negotiating contracts, and integrating partner needs with business operations.
- Should be able to handle potential clients when on the field as the first in command.
- Keep partner satisfaction at the core of every touchpoint with the partner.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to prioritize to meet daily, weekly, and long-term requirements and goals
- Attention to detail and ability to critically think through and resolve problems
Required Candidate profile
Desired Profile of the candidate
- 1-4 years of experience in Business Development, Sales or Account Management
- A competent decision-maker with the ability to develop, own and build a strategic plan for ensuring the best businesses partner with us
- Excellent negotiation and persuasion skills; Extremely comfortable with MS Office
- Effective communication skills
- Attitude & Aptitude for Sales
- Ability to work and collaborate with multiple internal stakeholders through active project management and communication
