VP/AVP/Business Manager - Sales - IT (10-15 yrs)
- Align the sales organization's objectives with sound business strategy through active participation in corporate strategic planning, sales strategy development, forecasting, sales resource planning, and budgeting.
- Meet and exceed assigned quota in terms of Quarterly/ Yearly Sales Targets for profitable sales volume, market share, and other key financial performance objectives.
- Responsible for the direct sales and marketing of Damco services and solutions.
- Build a solid and reliable sales pipeline that can progressively materialize into sales.
- Coordinate with inside sales team and support them in lead qualification process by planning and managing campaigns in line with GTM objectives.
- Screen prospective clients with accurate account mapping and adjust content of sales pitch and presentations - as per client requirements.
- Nurture and engage leads/prospects and converting them into qualified opportunities.
- Collaborate with Presales Team in developing a winning solution/strategy for the opportunity.
- Identify & Close, Cross sell and upsell opportunities in an Account.
- Establish a cordial relationship with the clients so as to ensure maximum customer satisfaction and repeat business.
- Keep the team focused and productively engaged and contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Keep the reporting authority informed by submitting activity and results reports.
All About You:
- High level of motivation and solid business acumen with strong communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to formulate Region/ Solution-based Go-To-Market strategies.
- Ability to establish and meet sales targets, goals and objectives and forecast monthly/ quarterly revenues.
- Good solution/services selling experience in Product Engineering, Custom Applications, Mobile Apps, Enterprise Solutions and Cloud Applications.
Qualification & Experience:
- University/College Degree - Marketing, Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering, Technology
- 10+ years of experience in direct selling and sales management role with majority of experience in the geography of interest.
- Several years of the full complement of the sales continuum (e.g. inside sales, lead qualification, direct sales, channel sales etc.).
- Strong sales management experience with customer facing engagement skills at all levels.
- Must have proven experience in meeting Sales Targets year on year with an appetite to grow business in multiple verticals.
