ROLE DESCRIPTION :

The role of the- Business Development professional will involve :

- Client Acquisition and ensuring growth of existing client accounts

- Ensure profitable growth in sales, revenue through planning, execution, and management of a supportive team

- Liaising with various contacts including sales and medical writing teams in client organizations, and client servicing, delivery and marketing teams within the organization

- Generating proposals and RFIs for client bidding

- Identify key decision-makers and build strong relationships at all levels of client/prospect organizations

- Attending client meetings and related industry events in the region

- Coordinating with client servicing and delivery teams to ensure that all projects are completed on schedule and within budget

KEY ABILITIES :

- Highly motivated individual with an entrepreneurial drive to excel and accustomed to working in a highly competitive environment and exposed to both institutional and consumer business

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build right working relationships with subordinates, colleagues, management, and Board

CANDIDATE BACKGROUND :

- 3-5+ years- of proven experience in the medical writing or life sciences industry focused services

- Outstanding verbal, written and interpersonal skills with excellent attention to detail

- Organized, self-motivated, hard-working problem-solver who is able to work with minimal direction once objectives are clearly stated
