- We are currently seeking energetic Sales Development Representatives. This position is an integral part of our sales engine. At Volopay, SDRs are a specialized group of individuals, always - hunting- for high-value opportunities.
Our Recruitment Process :
- It's essential that we get to know each other before we move ahead. We want to ensure you succeed in your role within our team. Typically the whole process takes between 5-7 business days depending on your and our schedules. The process will occur over telephonic calls.
- Setting expectations: This will be a call to understand your profile briefly and determine which role(s) it matches up to.
- Assignment/Task: This is a specially designed assessment to understand whether you have the skills to succeed in the role.
- Technical conversation: This will be a call with one of our Sales Team leaders to discuss the Task and other functional skills you'll need to succeed in this role.
- Culture fit conversation: A final conversation with our founder to determine your fit with the Volopay
- Extending an offer: If all goes well, we will extend an offer capturing the relevant details.
A typical day at Volopay being an SDR would involve :
- Generating qualified opportunities for the company by rigorously prospecting and researching in the ASEAN region/market.
- Seek out new sales opportunities through cold calling, networking, and social media with the local companies in Singapore.
- Set up meetings with potential clients in Singapore and listen to their wishes and concerns.
- Create frequent reviews and reports with sales and financial data.
- Negotiate/close deals and handle complaints or objections
- Gather feedback from customers or prospects and share it with internal teams.
What we are looking for :
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to drive top-of-the-funnel lead generation for account executives and sales managers.
- High levels of learning agility to constantly learn and adapt to new platforms, software and ideas.
- The individual must be a highly motivated, self-starter who is able to identify and develop opportunities from multiple sources including prospect lists, discovery, and individual research.
