Vinayak Ingredients - Business Development Role (3-10 yrs)
Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Business Development Specialist with 3+ years of experience. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in conducting market analyses, performing competitor analyses, driving business development, and providing technical support to customers. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong analytical skills and the ability to collaborate with various internal departments to ensure seamless customer service and market expansion.
Key Responsibilities :
1. Market and Competitor Analysis :
- Conduct comprehensive country-specific analyses to identify business opportunities within the food industry.
- Perform in-depth competitor analysis to understand product trends in Domestic or International markets.
- Regularly monitor, update, and report on existing markets, competitive offerings, and activities.
- Stay informed about competitors' marketing efforts and strategies.
2. Business Strategy and Development :
- Understand and align with the company's business plans to identify and seize new opportunities.
- Drive business development in both local and international markets, including preparing and sending quotations, specifications, trial samples, and Pro Forma Invoices (PFI), as well as handling negotiations.
- Develop new business opportunities through various channels and communication methods.
3. Customer Interaction and Support :
- Provide technical support to customers, resolving their queries and ensuring their satisfaction.
- Interact with customers to understand their material shipment requirements, coordinating with the team to oversee all details.
- Maintain strong relationships with customers to ensure repeat business and customer loyalty.
4. Internal Coordination :
- Coordinate with internal departments such as sales, suppliers, logistics, and accounts to ensure timely processing of customer needs.
- Collaborate with the sales team to perform market analysis and align strategies.
5. Sales and Marketing :
- Monitor sales performance, conduct in-depth analysis, and generate detailed reports to guide strategic decisions.
- Prepare high-quality marketing materials such as presentations and brochures to support sales and marketing efforts.
Education :
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Food Science, or a related field. An MBA or equivalent advanced degree is preferred.
Experience :
Minimum of 3+ years of experience in business development, market analysis, and customer support.
