Villgro - Associate - Communication (2-3 yrs)
Villgro Innovations Foundation seeks to hire a Communications Associate, who will manage both internal and external communications. This position will report to Head of Communications. This function is crucial to positioning and strengthening Villgro's brand as the incubator of choice for aspiring/early-stage social enterprises.
Roles and responsibilities :
Assist the management to ideate, develop and execute Villgro's external and internal communications portfolio
Lead our social media outreach activities, oversee online networking and expand our visibility
Write media articles, research pieces, blog posts and create short and accessible outputs from our larger research projects
Implement a content plan for the Villgro blog, newsletters and marketing collaterals
Work with a media consultant to disseminate relevant stories and information, through various media channels.
Manage multichannel event marketing for Villgro's Unconvention platform
Maintain annual report, website, brochures and other collateral
Manage vendors, such as a design agency, digital marketing agency and media consultant.
Track and report vital metrics pertaining to the effectiveness of communication projects/initiatives
Required Qualification and experience
Candidates with Bachelor's degree in media and communication or similar areas and at least 2-3 years- experience who have :
2-3 years of experience handling a communications role in a small firm
Media-facing experience would be a big plus
Exposure to the startup ecosystem/development sector desirable
Excellent business writing and copy skills (newsletters, blogs, press releases, marketing collateral, etc)
Detail-oriented, ability to work with multiple teams and manage multiple running projects
Location- Bangalore
Compensation- Based on experience
