Vice President - Sales - Marketing Technology Solutions (16-25 yrs)
Client- Our Client is one of the worlds largest digital marketing firms, and this is the role that will establish their India credentials and presence
Context
We are looking for a visionary sales leader who can connect with major brands in India and advise those brands on how to make virtual one to one personalized connections with their customers. The ideal candidate will be an expert at creating relationships with some of the most desired Indian as well as Global brands by understanding the needs of these enterprises and bringing relevant solutions to drive their marketing agenda.
Key Result Areas
- The VP of Sales will develop, drive and lead new business opportunities for the firms solutions and services in the Indian market and grow their client base in this region. This leader will support prospective and existing clients and will also have responsibilities for building and leading the sales organization in India.
Specifically, the VP of Sales will have the following roles and responsibilities:
- Manage, establish and grow the Sales function
- Own and drive top line revenue growth . Over time, there will be potential to drive new business development across the Middle East and APAC regions
- Establish, own and drive India sales targets
- Build relationships across CMOs and CIOs for various Global and Indian brands
- Lead strategic sales planning and account management process; establish and drive sales quota for India sales associates
- Connect with key influencers and decision makers in potential client organization and develop trusted advisory relationships
- Understand the firms marketing technology offerings and map their benefits to client needs
- Lead conversations with CMO/Brand Directors of prospective clients in the pre-sales and solutions process to bring aa consultative approach to their marketing and sales challenges
- Orchestrate work with the Clients, Client Services, Product & Delivery teams to ensure high-quality services
- Acts as the voice of customer across the organization and champion products and solutions with the customer
- Develop and groom sales team and enable them to upsell/cross-sell the right solutions
- Build a world-class sales organization for the firm in India
- Ensure highest levels of customer satisfaction by working collaboratively with Client Services, Product & Delivery teams
Qualifications & Requirements
We are looking for a Sales Leader with proven experience in building & scaling word class sales organizations. Specifically, s/he should:
- Be passionate about client success
- Be viewed as a trusted advisor to clients
- Create value by solving real business problems, and
- Understand the value of coordinating and working in teams.
The incumbent is required to have the following qualifications:
- A Bachelor's degree or higher, with 18+ years of experience in sales & business development
- Proven track record of delivering sales growth across industry verticals,
- Experience in selling Marketing Technology Solutions and/or Agency Services in the Indian market
- Solid knowledge of the Marketing space in India across CRM, loyalty, digital messaging and digital experience
- Strong business acumen to understand these martech solutions and platforms, and how they address business needs
- Experience in building and growing high performing sales teams
- Experience leading sales teams in meeting or exceeding sales targets consistently
- Experience working in a global multi-national organization, preferably a marketing technology product or services firm
- Experience in establishing & driving sales operations processes
