Vice President - Qualitative Research (10-15 yrs)
Summary:
Will be responsible for managing large Account/s. S/he is responsible for managing the end to end process cycle of client's requirements.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities
- Provide the vision, leadership, and strategic objectives to team
- Partners and collaborates internally with other senior leaders and managers to share the vision and goals and engage partnership for successful execution of the vision/strategy
- Drive client partnership to create client delight and ensure business development to maximize client potential
- Pro actively identify growth opportunities
- Be the business lead and the knowledge partner for the client business
- Provide thought leadership to various client teams as well as internal talent in line with Companies vision
- Have strong appreciation of how research can be used towards creating competitive advantage and answering business questions
- A high level of motivation and excellent communication skills are required to manage an incredibly diverse slate of work, clients, and team personalities
- Oversee and play a lead role in conducting a variety of qualitative research engagements, an increased role in business development and proposal writing/methodology creation. This includes hands on creation of research reports and presentations
- Provide Strategic and Marketing Leadership - Works with clients to uncover business needs and objectives, craft appropriate strategies, and identifies/implements products to help achieve client goals
- Build and Grow Client Relationships - Understand client's business and generate new ideas to enhance client performance; Build trust, credibility, and client referrals; Foster teamwork and a constructive work environment
- Manage Financial Performance - Achieve client targets within the context of the underlying opportunity; maintain or improve account profitability; develop new client sales proposals
- Balance client demands with participation in broader agency initiatives
- Manage budgets & project Financial management, Cost negotiations & Client profitability
- Must participate in Industry meets, MSRI papers as well as Internal workshops
- Appreciation of marketing and an imagination to translate findings into recommendations
Requirement -
- Ideally a person playing a similar role or a product / marketing manager from a leading consumer goods company, an independent marketing consultant or a insights professional from the client side.
