Vice President - Marketing - FinTech - IIT/IIM/BITS/ISB (12-15 yrs)
Responsibilities will include :
Function Expertise :
- Lead marketing teams in a dynamic fast paced environment.
- Deep functional understanding of brand building
- Expert in driving product marketing campaigns with strong focus on delivery and costs
- Ability to marry data with keen consumer insights and develop marketing strategies which drive top and bottom line for the company
- Continuously monitor marketing trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes. Adapt strategies and approaches as needed to stay ahead of the competition, ensuring that company offerings remain relevant and competitive.
- Optimize and manage the allocation of marketing budget and allocating resources to drive better performance.
- Regularly assess budget performance and suggest course corrections to enhance results.
- Build strong relationships with external agencies, partners, and vendors to execute marketing campaigns.
- Ensure campaigns are aligned with brand guidelines, delivered on time, and reflect the overall strategic vision for company
- Organizational leadership. Work closely with multiple internal teams (product, engineering, operations, finance) to drive business initiatives.
Problem Solving :

- Continuously assess and optimize campaigns to ensure they are delivering on key performance indicators (KPIs).

Interaction :
- Lead and motivate marketing team, ensuring clear communication and accountability.
- Collaborate with product, engineering, operations, and finance teams to drive successful campaigns that meet business goals and address customer needs.
- Communicate clearly and persuasively with senior leadership and other key stakeholders.
- Present campaign results, insights, and strategic recommendations to influence decisions and drive business growth.
Qualifications :
- STEM degree from a tier 1 institute preferably IIT/IIM/BITS/ISB
- Expert at understanding programmatic digital marketing channels (Google/Facebook/DV360) and their incremental value in driving business objectives
- Deep understanding in building mass appeal brands
- At least 12-15 years of brand/performance/growth marketing experience
- Startup experience is highly valued but not necessary
Skills, Experiences & Behaviors :
- Team management experience is a must - will be handling a team of high performers
- As a marketing leader understanding of fintech business model in India is highly valued for this role. Also ability of articulate marketing's impact on top and bottom line of business
- Ability to collaborate across team - Data, Product, Engineering and Business
- Highly data driven but at the same time ability to handle ambiguous situations with confidence where less data is available and take calls aligned with overall business objectives.
