Vendor Relationship Manager - Sales - Furniture (2-4 yrs)
- The primary role of (VRM) is to make an exhaustive list of furniture and allied products/(related to residential interiors) manufacturers-big and small/both factory fitted organized manufacturers supplying directly or through their exclusive collaborative retail outlets and small time self owned handcrafted furniture manufacturing units, in the assigned region.
- Do primary rekey and check their product quality and finish.
- VRM has to regularly reach out to new vendors in smaller, unknown areas and help find the real jewels in the field of interiors related work and create a stronger vendor base for Company platform.
- It's the VRMs duty to stay in regular touch with the vendors assigned to them.
- VRM is responsible for weekly reports, generated and submitted on the vendors performance, products in demand, new products added, any challenges faced by them, designer, client or company in the process.
- He/she must encourage the vendors to ad newer products to their range, work closely with them to suggest new designs that can be adapted.
- Encourage them for regular skill up-gradation workshops and webinars.
- Ensure timely product deliveries by the vendor.
- The VRM is the single point of connect between the company, the project manager and the vendor.
- The candidate should be well aware of the city dynamics. Should have interiors/building materials related product experience of min 2- 3 years in the same region. Should be working on similar profile, in close proximity with vendors, preferably small manufacturing firms in the same region.
- The candidate should have own conveyance and be ready to travel regularly between Kochi and Coimbatore.
