About the Role
As a sales development representative, you will play a strategic role in achieving our ambitious new client acquisition and revenue strategies for the Revenue Based Financing (RBF) product of Velocity.
You will be responsible for owning and handling the end to end lead generation cycle for all the top digital first/ e-commerce D2C brands in the country who have high growth potential in the future.
Your primary task would be to constantly generate new SQLs through using multiple communication and lead generation techniques. You are expected to constantly drive/build and increase the sales pipeline through different sales approaches.

Key Roles and Responsibilities
- Own end to end lead generation cycle for all digital first, e-commerce and D2C brands in the country through outbound sales approach.
- Should use best communication channels but not limited to phone, email to generate quality SQLs for the sales team.
- Constantly build, maintain and forecast a healthy sales pipeline to achieve quarterly/monthly and yearly business goals.
- Achieve sales targets consistently and thrive hard to challenge the competition landscape in the industry.
- Should have the ability to negotiate with clients and handle objections with ease over a call and other multiple communication channels.
- Highly self-motivated and constantly working on delivering positive results to the company.
- Should be highly persuasive and follow-up with clients in a timely manner.
- Build a deep level understanding for financial products market demands and trends in the Indian fin-tech industry.
- Understand and work towards teams/organizations objectives at all times.
Minimum requirements
- Must have 0 - 3 years of lead generation/sales/pre-sales experience in SaaS or in a B2B setup. (Fin-tech industry preferred)
- Strong communication, oral & written skills.
- Highly self motivated and result oriented personality.
- Hardworking with a strong work ethic.
Process

This gives you an opportunity to get to know the core team better and evaluate whether you'd like to spend a large proportion of your day with these individuals.
- Total duration: We'll try and fit in our entire process into a two week window, not including the time you might need for the assignment
- Interview content: The discussions test functional expertise, potential team dynamic, ownership levels, problem solving and creative thinking. Sometimes we ask open ended hypothetical questions, other times we just talk about your approach to solving problems. Irrespective, all discussions have a defined framework for success. By doing so we try to rule out the impact of personal biases on hiring decisions.
