Velocitai Digital - Digital Marketing Specialist - eCommerce Vertical (1-3 yrs)
Job Responsibilities :
- Digital Marketing strategy
- Complete ownership of digital marketing strategy
- Responsibility for executing the strategy as per the marketing calendar
SEO :
- Create and manage overarching SEO strategy inclusive of content strategy, link building, and keyword strategy to increase rankings on all major search networks
- Engage bloggers and content writers to create appropriate back-links
ROI management & reporting :
- Measure and report ROI of the digital strategy against periodic goals, including the performance of individual campaigns.
- Track and analyze website traffic flow and provide regular internal reports
- Continuously manage key performance indicators and implement remediation steps as required to achieve targets for bounce rate, dwell time, conversion rate etc.
- Continually work on the Search Engine Optimization of the website(s)
Content Management :
- Create and maintain company social media pages and profiles, and optimize content for social networks such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest, Quora
- Work closely with the tech support team to identify bugs in online content
- Edit and post videos, podcasts, and audio content to online sites
- Create online banner adverts and oversee the management
- Work on printed material to supplement online products
Campaign Management :
- Develop and manage digital marketing campaigns
- Coordinate and plan with the design team for upcoming digital asset requirements for social media posts, and email campaigns etc.
- Write copy for email marketing campaigns
- Attend product launches and networking events
- Social Media PPC and display advertising campaigns
- Contribute to develop strategies for Lead generation
Miscellaneous responsibilities :
- Keep yourself abreast of new trends in digital marketing, evaluate new strategies and ensure the brand is always at the forefront
- Collaborate with the engineering team to implement innovative design solutions for an immersive and excellent shopper experience
- Brainstorm with Customer Success Manager (CSM) regarding project updates, risks and issues posed to digital strategy
- Participate in QA testing with an eye for UX related bugs/deficiencies
Knowledge & Skills :
- BS/MS in Human-Computer Interaction, Interaction Design, or MBA in Sales/Marketing or related disciplines
- At least 1-3 years of strong digital marketing experience with eCommerce firms (experience with home-goods based eCommerce firms will be a distinct advantage)
- Demonstrated ability to correlate marketing strategy/decisions with SEO and SMO techniques and analytics data collated by marketing campaigns
- Up-to-date with the latest digital monetization trends, techniques and technologies
- Demonstrated ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously, meet deadlines, effectively manage priorities and communicate progress
- In-depth understanding of digital marketing techniques like SEO, SMM, PPC, content and influencer strategies in (a) UK/Europe, OR (b) India
- String network within content writer/blogger community
- Effective communication skills
