Vegrow - Team Lead - Farmer Engagement (4-6 yrs)
- As the Farmer Engagement Lead, you will oversee a team of agriculture Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) dedicated to cultivating trust within the farming community and enhancing the Vegrow brand.
- Your role will also involve facilitating cross-functional collaboration with business teams to generate insights, drive business objectives, and become stakeholders in the planning process.
Responsibilities :
- Manage a team of Agriculture SMEs, providing leadership and guidance to achieve team goals.
- Drive lead generation activities to facilitate business transactions and growth.
- Conduct market surveys to gather valuable insights and information about specific regions.
- Gather information from farmers to generate business insights and drive decision-making.
- Design and execute marketing campaigns to enhance the visibility of the Vegrow brand within the farming community.
- Develop a thorough understanding of agricultural categories and implement systems to enable remote sales.
- Implement strategies to foster the growth of the farmer community through diverse engagement initiatives.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the overall productivity of the team.
Skills and Qualifications :
- 3-6 years of experience in a similar role, preferably with startups or in the agricultural sector.
- Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a data-driven approach.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and experience in building reports.
- Preferred MBA
