Senior Copywriter

Responsibilities :

1. Thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with a high-volume workload often requiring short turnaround times.

2. Continually raise the bar on creativity, writing fresh copy that connects with the desired audience and drives action.

3. Comfortably vary voice, style, and other characteristics demanded by the company, or target audience at hand.

4. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of communication and client-related industry trends.

5. Stay updated on appropriate style guidelines and brand voice for consistency in messaging.

6. Interpret creative briefs to develop and produce creative concepts through execution on assigned brands.

7. Research and understand the project needs and target audiences, through online searches, reviews of existing research, interviews with subject matter experts, and in-person meetings.

8. Write original copy and edit content for a range of corporate marketing and communications materials.

9. Collaborate with a team of account managers and creative staff from concept development to delivery of the final product.

10. Present copy concepts and final deliverables to the internal team, and participate in project pitches on occasion.

11. Revise copy based on internal and external feedback/direction.

Skills/Qualification :

Must Have :

1. Minimum 4-5 years professional copywriting experience with solid portfolio of work

2. Exceptional writing and research skill

3. Ability to work independently and with a team to meet deadlines

4. Excellent organizational skill and multitasking ability

5. Proficiency in G-Suite, Microsoft Word, Excel, and Adobe Acrobat Pro

Good To Have :

1. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mass Communication, Journalism, English, or related discipline

2. Social media or content marketing experience is a plus

3. Proofreading experience and familiarity with standard style guides is a plus

4. Experience working with content management systems, WordPress, etc.

5. Free imagination and constant curiosity with a passion to transform education through creativity
