Relationship manager job responsibility
1 Maintaining and increasing sales of company's products
2 Reaching the targets and goals set for your area
3 Establishing maintaining and expanding Customer base
4 Servicing the needs of your existing customers
5 Increasing business opportunities through various routes to market
6 Possibly dealing with some major customer accounts yourself
7 Collecting customer feedback and market research
8 Reporting to Senior Manager
9 Keeping up to date with products and competitors.
New Business Development :
- Responsible to increase customer database and achieve targets
- Accountable for expansion of VEPL brand (new areas / locations)
3. Collection
- Responsible for timely collections of payments from customers as per the credit limits and credit period assigned to them
4. After Sales Service
- Responsible for resolving customer complaints and ensure customer delight
- Take regular feedback from customers regarding products and services offered by VEPL
5. Process Improvement
- Implementation of best practices within the department
- Implement quality and productivity improvement tools like Quality circle, quality groups etc
- Push for Automation wherever required
- Ensure 100% documentation in ERP
6. Legal & Compliance
- Be constantly updated with all laws, compliance and regulations applicable to this department thereby ensuring maximum benefits/profits
7. Safety & Security
- Suggest and implement various Safety and Security Policies from time to time and ensure they are strictly followed each day
- Ensure zero accidents to life, property and company assets

- Strong crisis management and time management skills
- Should be assertive and have an eye for detail
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and work under pressure by meeting deadlines
