Varmalla Hospitality - Regional Sales Manager (3-13 yrs)
Description of Role:
- To understand the client's goals and objectives behind the organization of various events, meetings, concerts, social gatherings, etc.
- To take care of various administrative and management tasks like planning a venue, communicating with numerous kinds of personalities through phone, emails, or meet them personally to decide various activities.
- Receiving, handling and converting Meetings, Events and Group inquiries.
- Planning events in conjunction with the client. (Need to do detailed discussion with a guest about his event, What all things we can arrange for him & plan for the execution)
- Presenting and Selling available and suitable banquet/event options to the highest possible standard. (Need to ready a high-end presentation of every venue keeping company guidelines with whom we are working, with depth knowledge of insight of the venue.)
- Arrange and carry out Hotel show rounds. (Need to go out with the guest for venue show around, giving knowledge about that venue, show them the presentation that we have of the hotel)
- Ensure the complete administration and execution of all planned events. (Be assured we do complete detailing of the guest event, every information to be documented & proper plan for execution whatever is committed)
- Negotiate space, dates, and rates to obtain booking goal while focusing on shoulder and off-season business. (Maintain the relationship with the venues, doing contracting with every hotel, Also, need to work out to get the best possible rates from the venue, Always ready record of heavy dates of the season)
- Actively manage business bookings, record denials, make network referrals. (Need to focus on every client to convert into business, Use all your network reference to achieve the milestone.
- Encouraging repeat business through excellent customer service and inquiry handling. (Need to focus on deliverable of the guest requirement, Try to get a reference from them to generate more revenue.
- Build strong relationships with customers to fully understand their needs. (Need to have very strong relationships with the guest to understand complete his requirement, to find out the possibilities of selling maximum service of varmalla.com)
- Each month review the next 6 months availability to highlight high or low demand dates and take steps to minimize the risk of any shortfall or overbooking.
- Ensuring all inquiries are recorded. (Need to maintain the proper record of all the inquiries that has shared to you or your team, to get out the best result & to increase the more productivity)
- Assist in the preparation and monitoring of sales, department and budgetary reports as and when required.
- Other duties and tasks assigned by the management within the job scope.
- Manage and negotiate with vendors for all contracts and implement all events and manage all communication with all attendees.
- Monitor inventory of all event requirements and maintain the availability of all resources and manage all communication for project deliverable and evaluate all event procedures within the required time frame.
