What Would This Role Entail?

- The senior copywriter is responsible for creating compelling, persuasive and engaging content for various political campaigns. This includes writing web copy, emails, social media content, ads, press releases and print marketing materials.

- He/she is expected to have a deep understanding of national and regional geopolitical issues. The senior copywriter also needs to work with senior management and other departments to make sure the organizational goals are met.

- Participating in regular meetings with other members of the Communication team in order to align our efforts and maximize the impact of our work together.

- Contributing ideas to the team on how we can improve our content on a regular basis.

- Research company and industry trends, and create content that is relevant to the target audience

- Provide strategy input on how to improve social media campaigns

- Conduct research to identify new opportunities within the digital space (e.g., new platforms)

Necessary Skills :

- Minimum of 2 years experience as a Copy Writer or Communication Specialist

- Demonstrated success in crafting compelling messages that resonate with audiences on varied levels

- Good Knowledge of MS Word/ Google Docs, PowerPoint Presentation designing experience

- Effective verbal communication skills

- Preferred Bachelor's degree in English/Hindi Literature

Good to Have Skills:

- Basic understanding of politics and the nature of India's democracy

- Calm under pressure and comfortable with a fast-paced work environment

- Deadline-focused and goal-driven with excellent problem solving skills

- Attention to detail and reasonable verbal communication skills
