Utopian Dreams is a Fintech startup founded by IIT Delhi + ISB/ IIMA Alumni.

Utopian Dreams is building a next-generation investment platform, DistrictD, that allows all the members of the investment community to make the right investment decisions. We are building a revolutionary online product that will fundamentally change the way people think and evaluate their investments in the equity market.

Position:

- If Sales is your passion and independent working is your style, we have the right opportunity for you. You will join us as Sales Partner for Mumbai region (includes Ahmedabad and Pune).

- You will be directly responsible for driving end-to-end sales of our SaaS product from prospecting to closure. You will be expected to sell to diverse set of clients like Portfolio Management Services, Equity Brokers, Alternative Investment funds etc. You will also maintain client relationships after the sales process.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop a thorough understanding of DistrictD's website, its features and workings, customer categories etc.

- Maintain a healthy sales pipeline and reach out to the relevant contacts in the accounts assigned to you by sending cold but highly personalized mails or cold calling. Identify and add new target customer segments

- Reach-out to leads in timely fashion and pitch for a demo (online or in-person). Customize the sales pitch according to the client's requirements and the situation.

- Responsible for closures for the accounts assigned to you. Negotiate and handle objections raised by the client independently.

Desired skills:

- You are either already working in roles like Sales, Account Management, Pre-Sales, Sales Support etc. or are keen on building a long-term career in sales.

- Exceptional business and analytical skills and ability to run entire sales cycle independently.

- Team handling experience is a plus, but not mandatory.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Compensation:

As a Sales Partner, your compensation will not be in the form of fixed monthly salary but it will be commission based. You will get a share of every sale you make and will continue to earn from subsequent subscription renewals. This way once you develop a good client network you will continue to earn free income from subscription renewals.
