Uppsteam - Manager - Marketing (3-7 yrs)
Position: Digital Marketing Manager
Experience: 2 to 5 yrs
We are currently looking for a Digital Marketing Manager. We would expect this person to have 2-5 years- experience in the Digital Marketing space. We are looking for someone keen on working in a startup environment, open to entrepreneurial challenges, setting up his/her own team and process.
Responsibilities:
- Build and execute social media strategy through competitive research, platform determination, benchmarking, messaging, and audience identification.
- Generate, edit, publish and share daily content (original text, images, video, or HTML) that builds meaningful connections and encourages community members to take action.
- Set up and optimize company pages within each platform to increase the visibility of company's social content.
- Moderate all user-generated content in line with the moderation policy for each community.
- Create editorial calendars and syndication schedules.
- Continuously improve by capturing and analyzing the appropriate social data/metrics, insights and best practices, and then acting on the information.
- Collaborate with other departments (customer relations, sales etc) to manage reputation, identify key players and coordinate actions
Education/Skills :
- Bachelor's Degree in marketing, Communications, Advertising, or related field. MBA preferred,
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills
- Understands and navigates various digital content platforms and analytical tools (i.e. Content Management Systems, marketing automation, etc.)
Preferable Knowledge :
- Passion for storytelling, listening to what the community has to say and providing outstanding experiences in the digital space
- Understanding and experience in the fields of programming and education will be helpful
- Excellent command over the English language
- Knowledge of social and blog platforms - Ability to adapt quickly to new technology and content types
