Update GeoTarget - Traditional Media Planner (3-6 yrs)
Function: Support function to Marketing and Sales
Reporting: Business Head
This role needs a person who has a Traditional Media Planning background with a sound knowledge of Strategic Media Planning, hands-on experience with the BARC software, and good media presentation writing skills.
The person will be identifying the media solutions for the markets for the brand which has the potential to grow and recommendations of the media vehicles.
Responsibilities :
Support system to the sales team:
- The person should be giving traditional strategic inputs to brands to get visibility into the priority markets.
- Comparison and recommendations for cost-effectiveness vs reach.
- Explore new opportunities/platforms/affiliations to increase visibility for client campaigns across the cable network.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams (sales, marketing, product, and operations teams) and their affiliates.
- Represent Update Geotarget in the brand ecosystem and positively influence client budgets.
In addition to this, the candidate will be responsible for the following duties:
- Media Industry Updates - to share market knowledge of various industries by scanning various news, media, and industry news portals.
- Campaign Research - (Pre: Post analysis) to keep abreast with what others are offering in the market, case studies of innovative offerings, and knowledge of new technology in media / social.
- Competition Analysis - Track the categories competitions, identify the client we can pitch, and work on the pitch presentations with cable media recommendations.
Requirements:
- Working with Media Agencies with 3-6 Years of Strategic Planning/Planning (traditional) background, with having a client interaction experience
- Ability to connect and engage with senior professionals within the potential brand ecosystem.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and persuasion skills.
- Familiarity with research and other industry tools - BARC, IRS/TGI etc.
- Self-motivated to exceed targets.
