Unit Sales Manager - Insurance (2-4 yrs)
Job Description:
As a Sales Development Manager, you will be responsible for driving sales and revenue growth for the HDFC Life Insurance Agency Channel in Chennai. You will be working closely with a team of Sales Managers and Agents to identify, develop and manage customer relationships, and drive business growth through effective sales strategies and tactics.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage relationships with customers to drive sales growth
- Identify new sales opportunities and implement effective sales strategies and tactics
- Manage a team of Sales Managers and Agents, providing coaching and guidance to help them achieve their sales targets
- Develop and implement training programs to enhance the skills of the Sales Managers and Agents
- Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics to identify areas for improvement
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure the successful delivery of sales initiatives
- Maintain a high level of knowledge and understanding of the insurance industry, market trends, and competition
- Ensure compliance with all company policies, procedures, and regulations
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in any discipline
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in sales, preferably in the insurance or financial services industry
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to lead and manage a team
- Results-oriented with a proven track record of achieving sales targets
- Knowledge of the insurance industry and products is a plus
