Unit Sales Manager - BFSI (1-5 yrs)
Oversee and manage a specific geographic unit within the agency channel, ensuring that sales targets are met and agent performance is optimized.
Responsibilities :
- Recruit, train, and develop a team of agents within the assigned unit.
- Set and monitor sales targets for individual agents and the unit as a whole.
- Provide coaching, support, and motivation to agents.
- Conduct regular team meetings and one-on-one sessions.
- Identify and address performance issues within the team.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with agents and customers.
- Represent the company at local events and community gatherings.
- Analyze sales data and identify trends and opportunities.
- Develop and implement localized sales strategies and plans.
Requirements :
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or related field.
- Proven experience in insurance sales, preferably in a leadership role.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Knowledge of the Indian insurance market and regulatory environment.
