Job Summary:
We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Content Writer to develop content for print, digital, and social media platforms. You will collaborate with our editorial team to create blog posts and content for social media to engage our target audience, write email blasts and press releases for our media relations department, and assist with marketing communication campaigns. You must know how to research various topics and industry trends and produce content on tight deadlines. This role requires excellent grammar and writing skills, high level of creativity, understanding of our users, attention to detail and project management skills.
Roles and Responsibilities:
1) Brainstorm with the sales & marketing teams for new ideas and strategies for effective content
2) Research markets and industries to create content that is innovative and original
3) Develop copy on a wide variety of topics for multiple platforms (such as the website, blogs, articles, and social media)
4) Create eye-catching and innovative headlines
5) Collaborate with campaign managers, creative team, and designers
Required Skills:
1) Bachelor's degree in English, journalism, communications, or a related field preferred
2) 1-3 years of professional writing experience, especially with digital platforms
3) A flair for converting concepts into simple and interesting pieces- video scripts, instagram carousels, LinkedIn posts, articles etc
4) An understanding how content travels on any one of the following platforms: Instagram, YouTube or LinkedIn.
5) Familiarity with keyword placement and SEO
6) High levels of learning agility to constantly to learn and adapt to new platforms, contexts and ideas.
7) Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and Google Docs
