Uniathena - Admission Officer - Sales (0-3 yrs)
The Admission Officer is responsible for driving student enrollment by actively engaging with prospective students, primarily international candidates, and converting them into paying customers for Westford University's online MBA and DBA programs. This role requires excellent communication skills, a deep understanding of the university's offerings, and a passion for helping students achieve their academic goals.
Key Responsibilities :
Prospecting and Outreach :
- Identify and reach out to potential students through various channels, including email, phone calls, and social media.
- Conduct targeted outreach campaigns to attract qualified candidates from overseas markets.
- Build and maintain relationships with prospective students, addressing their inquiries and concerns.
Admissions Counseling :
- Provide comprehensive information about Westford University's online programs, including curriculum, faculty, and admission requirements.
- Guide students through the application process, ensuring that all necessary documentation is submitted on time.
- Address student questions and concerns regarding financial aid, scholarships, and the overall academic experience.
Student Conversion :
- Utilize effective sales techniques to persuade prospective students to enroll in Westford University's programs.
- Negotiate tuition fees and payment plans to meet the needs of individual students.
- Track student progress throughout the admissions process and provide timely updates to the admissions team.
Data Management :
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student interactions, applications, and enrollments.
- Analyze enrollment data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
- Prepare reports and presentations on admissions performance and progress.
Required Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
- Proven experience in admissions or sales, preferably in higher education.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, both verbal and written.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
- Proficient in using CRM software and other relevant tools.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Fluency in English and at least one additional language is preferred.
Preferred Qualifications :
- Master's degree or higher.
- Experience working with international students.
- Knowledge of online education and distance learning.
- Experience in higher education marketing or outreach
