UNBUMF - Content Writer (0-1 yrs)
Job brief :
We are looking for a Content Writer to join our editorial team.
Responsibilities :
1. Research topics (combining online sources, interviews, and studies)
2. Write research-based articles to be published on unbumf.com
3. Prepare well-structured drafts using Content Management Systems
4. Proofread and edit blog posts before publication
5. Submit work to editors for input and approval
6. Coordinate with marketing and design teams to illustrate articles
7. Conduct simple keyword research and use SEO guidelines to increase web traffic
8. Promote content on social media
9. Identify audience needs and gaps in our content and recommend new topics
10. Ensure all-around consistency (style, fonts, images, and tone)
Requirements:
1. Proven work experience as a Content Writer, Copywriter or similar role
2. Portfolio of published articles
3. Experience doing research using multiple sources
4. Familiarity with web publications
5. Excellent writing and editing skills in English
6. Hands-on experience with Content Management Systems (e.g. WordPress)
7. Ability to meet deadlines
8. Graduate in English, Journalism or related field
