About Role :
The Content Manager position is based in New Delhi. The Manager will work in the capacity of Ukti's chief editor, playing a key role in daily operations and management, leading a growing team of writers and editors. The Content Manager will essentially be one of the most senior members of the company.
The role demands someone proactive (getting to work instead of waiting for instructions) with killer written communication skills. The candidate must hold a deep belief in the power of words and should have some understanding of the purpose of content creation for brands. If you are passionate about creating high-quality and engaging content that drives business success, you will find this to be just the right job.
The Content Manager will be trained on different various types and formats of written communication. These could be (but not limited to):
- Blogs
- Articles
- Whitepapers
- Website copy
- Various marketing collateral across a variety of industries. The position is based in South Delhi and will need in-office presence 6 days a week.
Roles and Responsibilities :
The Manager will be responsible for the following :
1. Editorial functions - copyediting and content editing to elevate the quality and impact of a content piece
2. Enforcing content briefs and guidelines
3. Managing a team of writers and editors - mentoring, consulting, and other project-related communication
4. Training writers on creating excellent content through constant feedback and guidance
5. Training the team on content development and delivery
6. Training and collaborating with writers to ensure brand consistency
7. Project management - staying on top of projects, follow-ups with writers, updating status etc.
8. Client communication w.r.t. understanding project briefs, guidelines, project status, creating content calendars
9. Tracking content performance and engagement by collecting feedback and web metrics from clients
10. Staying up-to-date with industry developments and generating new ideas
